What is it?
In 1972 Franco Parenti and Andrée Ruth Shammah, with Giovanni Testori, Dante Isella and Gian Maurizio Fercioni, founded Salone Pier Lombardo which immediately became an artistic and cultural reference point in Milan. In 1989, with the death of Franco Parenti, Shammah took over the direction of the theater which, in honor of the great actor, took the name of Teatro Franco Parenti.
Music, cultural events and theatre shows have always been part of the Parenti repertoire.
The historic site reopened in 2008, renovated by Michele De Lucchi. A place of entertainment, work, meeting and experimentation like the great international creation centers.
What are the benefits?
Teatro Franco Parenti offers Politecnico community some tickets at discounted prices.
- For students and PhD: 50% of discount on the full price ticket for the seats from Sector 2nd (Saturday, Sunday and December 31st excluded)
- For professors, research fellows, technical and administrative staff: 30% of discount on the full price ticket for the seats from Sector 2nd (Saturday, Sunday and December 31st excluded)
The full ticket price depends on the location and the show.
How does it work?
To enjoy the benefits dedicated to Politecnico community, you have to show your university ID card / badge at the box office when purchasing the ticket. Tickets can also be booked by email, writing to biglietteria@teatrofrancoparenti.com and specifying in the email subject “Convenzione Politecnico – Studenti/Dottorandi” (for students and PhD) or “Convenzione Politecnico – Docenti/Assegnisti/ Personale tecnico amministrativo” (for professors, research fellows, technical and administrative staff).
In the text of the email indicate name, surname, date of the event, number of seats to be booked and telephone number.
The booked tickets must be confirmed with payment by 19.00 of the day before the date of the show.
