Become a Buddy

It is now possible to apply to the Buddy Project for the first semester of A.Y. 2024/2025.

The Buddy Project has been implemented to assist new students in the pre-arrival phase and in the first few months post-arrival period. The project matches new international students with students of any nationality, who are already studying at Politecnico di Milano. If you apply to become a Buddy, you will be matched with a new international students who, where possible, will be attending your same degree program or your same Campus and share similar interests. The goal is to help international students integrate in the new University/city context.

The project will last 5 months, from late July to mid-December 2024, during which you will take part in social events, meet new friends, practice foreign languages and get to know different cultures. 

Moreover, students who have carried out the activity of Buddy during the semester of reference, will be able to obtain My Open Badge: an electronic certification, internationally recognized, that certifies the skills acquired during the Buddy activities. Once obtained it will be possible to include the certification, through a link, in the Curriculum Vitae.
